“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep”
– Scott Adams
My objective is to communicate a more realistic impression of a subject, rather than creating a photo-realistic portrayal. Produced by applying soft flowing watercolours dissolving into wet paper, creating hard and soft edges; watching blossoms of colour pigments blending with each other as I paint; lightly sponging to create soft foliage or fluffy cumulus clouds. Eager to learn new techniques and expanding my expertise through books and classes, keeps me exited about my work as an artist.
